ABSTRACT
A propellant system for delivering ranch dressing into the interior of food items that may otherwise only be coated in the condiment, including but not limited to onion rings, chicken fingers, corn dogs, chicken nuggets, corn fingers, chicken dogs and finger nugget dogs. The system is modeled on existing captive bolt pistol designs used for the stunning of cattle to deliver a cylindrical round of dressing into food items at the preparation stage using a compressed air gun. This improves upon previous powder-actuated designs, by reducing risk of injury and increasing cost efficiency.
