Know Your Rights!

  • If strip searched by a police officer you can legally request that the officer also undress. This is known as the “I show you mine, you show me yours” clause.
  • As long as one has properly applied for an indignance license, bicycle ownership entitles them to ignore all traffic laws.
  • When you suspect that your civil liberties have been violated, asking “What is this, Soviet Russia?” will be recognized as a formally filed complaint. This does not apply, however, if you actually are in Soviet Russia.
  • Women are fully entitled to breast-feed in public. You are significantly less entitled to yell “Hell yeah!” when this occurs, and strongly discouraged from soliciting a high-five from the mother or child.
  • It is illegal to abduct, hunt and trap human beings as “the most dangerous game.” This is known as “entrapment.”
